Long queue for limited range of not cheap buffet grub. Very pleasant (in summer) garden by river, beer acceptable, but the food side is a conveyor belt (30 minutes queueing) Steve Barnard, before 2003 Pleasant country pub. Extremely expensive (Pint & orange juice= £5, packet of crisps 65p) and probably best off going elsewhere. Ed Butler, Jul 2003 Not too impressed with the queue for the buffet come Sunday lunch, nor was I too impressed with the person watching over you to make sure you didn't take too much. I didn't take any and left when I saw what was going on...mind you I had my doubts when I read "welcome" in at least 3 different languages as we walked in!
